What does self-love look like in practice?
– Prioritizing yourself.
– Listening to your body, mind, soul and nurturing them.
– Learning about and knowing yourself well.
– Talking to and about yourself with kindness.
– Appreciating yourself as you are.
– Forgiving yourself and judging much less.
– Accepting and processing all your emotions.
– Setting healthy boundaries in your relationships.
– Practicing daily self-care: healthy activities, nurturing food, exercise, enough sleep, fulfilling intimacy and meaningful social interactions.
💡The paradox is: we often forget about ourselves or just postpone taking care of ourselves and we even can be our worst enemy.
On the other hand we are our most important partner, relationship, resource for a lifetime..
